The
application form provides information
about the youth applicant and the
type of assistance requested. |

Each
application must include an independent,
third party verification of the
information provided in the application
and the barriers affecting the youth's
participation in sport. |

Let
Kids Play reviews all applications
and aims to provide an answer to
applicants within 30 days of the
receipt of the application. All
reviews are conducted by an independent,
impartial panel. |
APPLICATION
CYCLE
Let Kids Play Foundation
uses an "application cycle"
to process applications. We have 6 application
cycles in a calendar year. During this
time, applications recieved by the application
deadline are objectively reviewed and
funding is determined. Applications must
be received prior to the application deadlines
listed below. Unfortunately, we can only
process applications during the application
cycle in which they are received. If applications
are received by the application deadline,
an email notification of the funding decision
can be expected 3-4 weeks after the application
deadline.
2011 Application Deadlines:
- January 1st
- March 1st
- May 1st
- July 1st
- September 1st
- November 1st

Application Guidelines:
- Children under the age of
18 years are eligible for a grant
- Grants of a maximum of $200
are to be used for the payment of sport participant/registration
fees
- Camps, equipment, travel
to events, championships, etc are not eligible
expenses
- Only one application per
calendar year, for one eligible sport, may
be submitted
- Applications must be received
prior to or during the requested season of
sport
- Sport activities must demonstrate
a sustained sport experience (a season of
sport led by a qualified coach)
- Applications must be submitted by the application
deadline for a given application cycle
